Newcomers to Gulf Countries..

Everyone who is fresh to Middle East job market, he is ambitious. Also most of them worried a lot about their future. You can see them very confused. The newcomers to Gulf countries (especially from subcontinent and Arab countries except GCC countries) are having this confusion and worry a lot that cause sleepless nights for them and unnecessary stress. Meantime, their talent, creativity and innovation, they forget to use in proper areas and will face troubles. Very often in Gulf Countries, the job seeker will get an offer related to his field and in reality he will get a job least compatible with his profession.

At job place, you face various types of persons and it enhances your confusion more. There will be non cooperative senior persons those are even unable to control anything in their personal life; they are instead content to completely control everything that happens at their workplace.  Also there will be a boss who is self centered and paranoid. Also sales persons with laziest of all signs just thinking about their sales commission, often waiting for someone calls them and begs then to take their money. They like to avoid contact with customers, but if there is a sale in final stage, they know how to get the full credit.

If you really want to continue in Middle East, keep away your ego and try to adjust with the seniors and company atmosphere for at least during probation period. Well, that's not exactly what happens normally. Instead, they start to dream a lot and want to get whatever the experienced persons are availing which achieved with many years of struggle.

Read this small story of a new job seeker.

A Manager of a firm is reviewing a potential employee's application and notices that the man has never worked before.

He says to the man, "For a man with no experience, you are certainly asking for a high wage."

"Well Sir," the applicant replies, "the work is so much harder when you don't know what you're doing!"
