I think your engineer friend might not have any intention to misguide you. You are right RS232 interface is very old form of communication standard you may find it amazing to find a 256MB SDRAM chip of PC 100 bus for old pentium machines is more or less the price of 1024 MB DDR memory module (you could make it out from this). For your information Laptops are classified into three types Home user Notebooks, business Notebooks and Mobile Workstations which are really desktop replacement. Notebooks which are with RS232 interface are mostly business notebooks which are designed for prolonged usage and have different processors with less voltage intake. Please find some time to visit intels website to see the different voltage rating for processors of same speed.
Still I aprreciate you for not yielding by your friends misleading information...

I agree with you and also Mr.Shanavas but have you ever noticed while two Saudi's trying to occuppy a lift.Both will say to each other "Fadhathal..fadhathal" and it will keep on going till one finds a wonderful and most religious way to convince other "Yemeen awal". Wah! what a wonderful people are they and what a patience they have (except when they are behind the wheels).Feel pity for these people because they were able to exhibit their talent ,anger, frustration and even joy in and only while driving. You would have seen this when there is a football match.

I really appreciate you for the selection of subjects for your artilce!! all are great and wonderful.
These type of Drivers you can see all over GCC, I hope may be this is their basic qualification to obtain a driving license in gulf countries!!!!, Sometimes we feel just to get out of the vehicle and give a slap to that guy buzzing the horn. Really irritating. I cant understand why they are doing this. No one want to sleep on the road in green signal...
